The fundamentals of playing are the same for all the brass family.
I focus on the specific requirements of my students in skill building, by tailoring exercises and studies to develop their abilities.
A typical lesson would be from ½ hour to 1 hour, (preferably a minimum or 45 minutes), depending on the age and standard of player.

My teaching emphasizes the importance of requiring the basic skills which are rather like the pyramid, having strong foundations in order to support itself:

Lip and mouthpiece buzzing
Flexibility
Developing a good sound
Expanding range and endurance
Intonation
Finger technique
Tonguing; production, articulation, double and triple
Flow studies
Etudes, studies, trumpet repertoire

In the practice room incorporate the following into your routine:

Set yourself goals

Be patient

Monitor your progress

Use a metronome

Use a tuner

I offer advice to students to find the right mouthpiece for their embouchure and can offer expert advice in buying a trumpet for their budget, new or used.

Beginner or pro level, whether ones main interest is band, orchestral or jazz, I offer my 25+ years of experience to help and inspire the pupil to achieve their goals.

Make every note as perfect as a pearl, let every note count - And have fun on the way!
